Slotted type commutator armature winding
The WIND-ST-TD2B full automatic rotor winding machine is a double fly winding machine specially
designed for producing slot type commutator rotor, which is suitable for high-speed winding of medium
and coarse diameter rotor. The machine adopts automatic clipping mechanism and auxiliary wire insertion
method, which greatly improves the winding speed of grooved rotor. This machine is widely used for
winding of DC and series motor rotor. The suitable winding diameter 0.25mm~1.2mm. widely use in thin
wire line slots rotor and large diameter slotted type commutator rotor, which is suitable for the automatic
winding of odd and even numbered slots grooves.

Instruction for Use:
Manually put on armature and press 'Start' botton, machine will do clamping, hooking ,windinging, indexing
automatically and repeatly until one armature was fully wound.
WIND-ST-TD2B winding machine is to do winding for the armature with riser type commutator.
It has double flyer to make the winding and with auto wire cutting, clamping structure, assisting wire
inserting way to upgrade the winding speed.

Ask and Answer:
Are they flier-type winding machine? I would like to understand how your winding machine design can
overcome the problem of traditional winding machine that has been designed for 2 pole motor.
The winding coil in a 4 pole lamination has a smaller angle than a 2 pole lamination across the lamination
slot. Therefore, 4 pole winding machine use a smaller angle wire guiding head to guide the magnet wire to
slide into a 4-pole lamination slot. So, the wire will seat on the side of the slot instead of seating on the
bottom of the slot. For a 2 pole lamination, the guiding head is wider and the wire can be guided to slide
into the bottom of the slot.
If you use a flier type winding machine on a 4 pole or 8 pole armature, do you have any method to guide
the wire to the bottom of the slot first, then go up to the slot opening - tidy and neat.
